The Benefits of Getting Exercise
By: Jack Arnold
J Exercise, it gives us amazing mental health, a big mood booster, it makes us glad on a day that may feel sad. We need exercise to stay fit, stay healthy and stay active. These are the main benefits of getting exercise.
First off, getting exercise will increase the muscle and reduce the fat. For example, push ups are a great exercise for getting stronger abs and reducing belly fat. Also, getting lots of exercise can release adrenaline and dopamine, which can increase your mood and it helps us focus. Adrenaline and dopamine are really good benefits for learning in school, and the more you focus the better odds you have to get a good grade. Exercise can help you quit smoking and lots of other drugs. It won’t only help people who are on drugs quit, it will put them in a way better mood for the future. These are just a few benefits of getting exercise, but there are more.
Exercise doesn’t only increase our mood, it can extend our life. Again, it doesn’t only extend our life, it will give us a happy and healthy life. It will get you better sleep and for the majority of mornings you will be very happy. If you sit down for 2 hours straight and play video games then you would feel sad and lazy as a couch. Whereas if you get in a good workout and then sit down for 2 hours, you will feel absolutely fine because of the adrenaline and dopamine in your body from the workout, and you will know in your head that you got in good exercise. According to Mayo Clinic, “Exercise and physical activity can be enjoyable. They give you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy.”
Exercise is scientifically proven to make us more productive people and more focused. This can help with school, work, family time, etc. Also, exercise helps your body manage your insulin level and blood sugar. According to Healthline, “It can lower your risk of chronic disease.” Exercise can help with so many things. Lastly, for another benefit of getting exercise, it increases your energy levels and the pain of working out is just weakness leaving your body.
As you can tell, exercising can help everyone in a different way. Whether it is a health problem you have, weight problem, or even just being sad and feeling down. Exercise is what we need for a cure.
